Runaway Bride, the Musical, Debuts in Duluth

It's what metro Atlanta residents have been waiting for- a musical based upon the tabloid-fodder "runaway bride" story from 2005. The residents of Duluth will never forget Jennifer Wilbanks, or the hours of manpower and countless tax dollars spent searching for her, when in the end, it turned out to be just one bad case of cold feet before her wedding. Runaway Bride is being produced by Duluth's own Red Clay Theatre, and will run until April 20th. Tickets can be reserved via their online box office or by calling 770-622-1777.

In what turns out to be great timing for the show's opening, news leaked out this week that Wilbank's former fiance, John Mason, married another woman this past Saturday. Unlike the massive event that was planned the first time around, Mason's marriage ceremony was a quiet and small affair.
