The Dogwood Festival Returns to Piedmont Park

After having to relocate in 2008 due to drought regulations, The Atlanta Dogwood Festival announced today that the 2009 festival will return to the traditional Piedmont Park location.

Following months of debate and a public petition, an agreement had been reached to distribute major Atlanta festivals throughout various city parks in order to place less strain on landscaping and terrain.

The Atlanta Dogwood Festival will be held April 17-19, 2009.
