Marta Holiday Schedule

Tuesday December 23, 2008

For those of you planning to use Marta to get back and forth to your holiday events (a very safe choice for those enjoying a bit too much eggnog!), be aware of holiday schedule detailed below.

On Christmas Day:

  • North/South line trains will run every 20 minutes
  • East/West line trains will run every 15 minutes
  • All buses will use the Sunday schedule

Planning ahead for New Years Eve?

  • All trains will run every 15 minutes on New Years Eve
  • The last train leaves Five Points Station at 2 a.m., so don't be late!
  • Buses will run on a regular schedule

It looks like the buses will stop at 2 AM on New Years Eve but the trains will be running 24 hours. http://www.itsmarta.com/newsroom/latest_news/reroutes.htm

Thanks for that link… the Marta homepage (bottom right in the “holiday” box) still says the last train leaves at 2 a.m., though. May want to make some phone calls if you’re planning on riding!
