Atlanta Bartending Contest at Front Page News

Bartenders, start your engines! Front Page New and Effen Vodka are teaming up to find the best bartender in Atlanta. Just head to the Midtown location of Front Page News every Monday between January 12 and March 30 for your chance at a nightly prize of $100 and a spot in the big showdown, where the winner gets a $1000 prize and the glory of being crowed "Atlanta's Best Bartender."

Bartenders will face off in a series of bar skills tests designed to showcase desirable bartender personality traits, technical skills and the ability to have fun. One of the easiest ways to tell a good bartender is by how many regulars they have, so every week Front Page News will award the bartender who brings the most people at the contest a $75.00 bar tab.

Twelve batenders will be allowed to complete each week. Sign up is open until 8:45 (first come, first serve) and the contest starts at 9:00 p.m. Winners will return for "The Master Mixologist Final Showdown Grand Finale" on Monday, April 6, 2009.
