The AJC reports that Jimmy Carter's bike was stolen from the Carter Center grounds earlier this month, along with his wife Rosalynn's bike. The bikes, worth approximately $1,000 each, were a gift from Outback Bikes, which has two Atlanta area locations.

“They’ve probably been sold for a $10 rock of crack,” Peter Wicker, owner of Outback Bikes, told the AJC.

In other Carter-related news, the former president will sign copies of his latest book, We Can Have Peace in the Holy Land, on January 21 at the Carter Presidential Library. The event starts at 5 p.m., but start lining up as early as 3 p.m. Be sure to tell him you're sorry about the bike.
