St. Patrick's Day Alternative - Cook an Irish Feast

By , About.com GuideMarch 16, 2009

Follow me on:

There are tons of St. Patrick's Day events going on around town. Irish pubs everywhere are raising a pint of green beer and toasting in celebration. If you prefer to celebrate in a way that won't leave you hung-over for work on Wednesday, check out the Irish-themed, "Girls Night Out" cooking class at Cook's Warehouse in Brookhaven.

Sip on a glass of Leprechaun Punch while Chef Donica demonstrates twists on classic Irish dishes including Irish and Cheddar Stout Fondue, Mini Potato and Leek Pancakes, and Reuben Sliders. The $45 class is from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and there are still seats available!

Rather cook at home? Check out these St. Patrick's Day recipes from our About.com Guide to Home Cooking.
