This week Atlanta will get a rare visit from the John Lennon Educational Bus, a tricked out music studio on wheels. The Lennon Bus encourages young people to play music, write songs, engineer recording sessions and produce video projects using the latest audio, video, and live sound equipment. Students write an original composition, record it and create a broadcast quality music video of their song which they take home on a Maxell DVD – all in one day!
The bus will be open to the public for tours with great music and lots of prizes at the following Atlanta locations:
- Friday, May 22 at Lakewood Amphitheater, 8:30 a.m. -3 p.m.
- Saturday, May 23 at the Sam Ash Music Store at 2999 Cobb Parkway, Atlanta, from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
