Wednesday June 24, 2009

Today the Piedmont Park Conservancy announced they are bringing former Beatle Paul McCartney to Atlanta for a benefit concert this August. The mega-star will play an outdoor show in Piedmont Park on August 15, 2009.

General admission tickets will go on sale Monday through Ticketmaster and Live Nation. American Express card holders and park members will have the opportunity to buy priority tickets starting on Thursday at 10 a.m.. Tickets are $79.50.

Good music for a good cause - how do you say no to that?

I have ushered at several venues in Atlanta. Is there a possibility that ushers or such would be used for this concert and if so, who do I contact?
Thank you for your response.

Hi Karen – I’m not sure what their needs would be, I’m just spreading the news. However, the concert is put on by the Piedmont Park Conservancy (www.piedmontpark.org), so I’d contact them with your information to learn more!
