Next Saturday, August 22, Atlantans young and old will gather at Masquerade Music Park in Midtown and try to impress the reps from the Guiness Book of World Records with the largest water balloon fight in history!
Better yet? It's all for a good cause. The $5 admission will go to support Camp Twin Lakes, a Georgia non-profit that offers year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for children and young adults facing serious illnesses, disabilities and challenges.
The event will also feature DJs, a full bar and other activities. To break the record, around 3,000 people need to show up, so bring your friends and get ready to get wet! $5 admission can be paid at the door, but you can pre-register online for speedier admission. The fun starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd at the Masquerade Music Park located at 695 North Ave NE, Atlanta.
