Sweetwater Brews Special Edition Local Beer

Our hometown brewery, Sweetwater, has come out with a new, special edition beer called Big Ol Belgian Blue Balls (BOBBB). This high gravity ale is the first in a series of brews using local, seasonal organic ingredients, dubbed a “farm-to-bottle” initiative. The blueberries in this concoction are organic and grown at Georgia's own Serenbe, just south of Atlanta.

The release is available as of Wednesday, August 26 for tasting at the brewery, and will be available on draft at selected restaurants and in 22oz bottles in selected retailers the first week of September. It is expected to sell out in about a month, so drink quickly!

The beer is being sold at Mac's, Sherlock's, Greens & Tower (and possibly others, but those are confirmed) and served at Cypress St, Taco Mac, Padriacs, Old Havana Cigar, Diesel, Mellow Mushroom & Dantanna's.
