Chomp and StompThis Saturday, bundle up and head down to Atlanta's Cabbagetown neighborhood for the annual Chomp and Stomp Chili Cookoff and Festival! The day-long event includes a chili competition - with both amateur and restaurants competing, a 5K, bluegrass music, vendors and other fun contests.

Just $5 gets you a chili tasting spoon for all the chili you can handle - but be warned, the good stuff goes fast. Chili is served at noon, so get there on time if you want to get the most bang for your buck. There are tons of different types for meat-lovers and vegetarians alike - last year a veggie chili won first place!

Cabbagetown is located just east of Downtown Atlanta and is accessible by 75/85, I-20 and Marta. The festival will run Fur Bus shuttles (!!) from the King Memorial Marta Station to the event. If you're local, there will be a bike valet so you can pedal over.

The festival is from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. with chili served at noon.
