One of the most popular articles on this site is a list of the Metro Atlanta restaurants that have been featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." The show has certainly hit some great spots in Atlanta, but that got me wondering - which other restaurants have caught the eye of television's culinary pros?
Food Network actually has a handy map that lets you check out where they've been in any city you visit. Here's what I learned.
- Several dishes have been featured on "Best Thing I Ever Ate" including the Angry Mussels at JCT. Kitchen, the Rib Tips at Daddy D'z BBQ, the burger at Holeman and Finch, and the Australian Lamb Chops at Rathbun's.
- Local food geek Alton Brown chows down on fried pickles at Blue Ridge Grill and the Sloppy Slaw Burger at Red Eyed Mule.
- Bobby Flay featured Atlanta on "FoodNation," checking out South City Kitchen, the Morningside Farmer's Market, The Varsity, and Thelma's Kitchen.
If you could take a Food Network star to just one restaurant in Atlanta, who would you pick and where would you take them?

I would take Guy Fieri to Heiroom BBQ.
