The Walking Dead, one of the many shows filmed here in Atlanta, returns to the small screen this month - and that means it is time for Diesel's premiere party. They will be recreating the show's original prison guard tower in its parking lot, complete with an arsenal of weapons for those ready to join the fight. "Survivors" are asked to bring in canned food items for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Diesel will provide one raffle ticket per canned item of food donated. Raffle items include zombie survival items as well as The Walking Dead memorabilia, comics and more. The premiere party is Sunday, October 14th at 9 p.m., and Diesel also holds viewing parties throughout the season.
Want even more zombie action? On October 27 there will be a Zombie Walk in Marietta. Dress up in your best (or is it worst?) zombie gear and traipse through the historic Marietta Square with loads of other "undead" friends. Like the Diesel event, the Zombie Walk asks that you bring a donation of canned goods to help the living.
