Santaland DiariesOne of the best ways to celebrate the holiday season is by grabbing friends and family and seeing one of the live holiday shows around Atlanta. From traditional to uproarious, kid-friendly to R-rated, there are a wide range of options, and one is sure to be right for your crew.

Here are some of our top holiday performances and shows happening around town:

  • For witty grown ups, try non-traditional shows like The Santaland Diaries at Horizon Theatre (November 23 - December 30) or Holidays With the Chalks at The Alliance's Hertz Stage (November 30 - December 23)
  • Got kids? Horizon Theatre puts on Madeline's Christmas (December 8 - 30), and your kids will love to see Rudolph come to life at the Center for Puppetry Arts
  • If you like the classics, see The Nutcracker at The Fox Theatre (December 7 - 26) or The Christmas Carol at The Alliance (November 23 - December 23)
  • Love musicals? Atlanta Lyric Theatre is putting on the Tony-award nominated White Christmas, December 7 - 23 at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta
