Easter Brunch is always a popular activity for families. You can find many restaurants with Easter Brunch specials and make reservations through Open Table. Egg Hunts and Festivals:

Atlanta (Governor's Mansion), April 4, 2009
Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Please bring size 4 & 5 diapers, umbrellas or gift cards for $10 or less to Wal-Mart, Target, Publix or Kroger for Atlanta Children’s Shelter. RSVP in advance at 404-656-1776. Activities include the Egg Roll, an Egg Hunt, Decorating and a Cupcake Creation Station. Entertainment with moonwalk, face painting, balloon animals, story time, and the Easter Bunny. Light refreshments. Bring your own basket and arrive by 10:30 a.m.

Atlanta (Callanwolde), April 11, 2009
Bring a basket and take part in the giant egg hunt. Thousands of eggs will be hidden on the grounds. Meet the Easter Bunny, play games, pet live bunnies and more! Tickets are $10 for kids; Adults free. This event starts at 10 a.m. In case of rain the event will be cancelled. Free parking and shuttle buses will be provided at the Emory University Briarcliff Campus, 1256 Briarcliff Road, just one-half mile north of Callanwolde. For more information call 404-872-5338.

Stone Mountain Park Sunrise Service, April 12, 2009
Annual Sunrise Service. Experience serenity and peace as the Stone Mountain Ministerial Association presents two simultaneous, non-denominational Easter services at the top of Stone Mountain and at the base of the mountain on Memorial Lawn. Park gates and Summit Skyride open at 4am. Services begin at approximately 6:15am. Please allow an extra hour or more for large crowds. Vehicle entry to the park is $8 cash for a one-day permit or $35 for annual permit. Church vans and buses enter free. Round-trip Skyride fees are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for children 3-11 and $5.50 one-way. There are no fees for the walk-up trail to the top of the mountain.

Easter High Tea at the Botanical Gardens, April 12, 2009
Choose one of three seatings for high tea at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens on Easter Sunday: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. Tea isaccompanied by finger foods like scones, crumpets, tea sandwiches and all the flourishes representative of a hearty High Tea.
