One of the most popular annual festivals in Atlanta, the three-day Dogwood Festival takes place in Piedmont Park and attracts visitors from all around. The Dogwood Festival has musical performances, festival food and lots of fun activities - but the highlight is the huge artist's market with hundreds of vendors selling unique artwork, food items, gifts, jewelry, and more. Of course, the real star of the festival is Piedmont Park in the springtime.

Taking place in Centennial Olympic Park (new location alert!), Sweetwater 420 Fest is a popular two-day festival with lots of brews from Sweetwater Brewing Company (one of Atlanta's own local breweries), plus plenty of live music that rocks late into the evening. Music is the highlight of this festival - with more than 20 performers. There is also a comedy tent featuring improv and comedy workshops. Throw back some SweetWater beers and even sample limited edition Cask Ales.
The Kirkwood Spring Fling is held in Bessie Brahman Park and is a family-friendly festival that's a bit more low key than some of the bigger spring festivals in Atlanta. Check out local artists, enjoy live music and chow down on festival food.
