Ah, Valentine's Day. The words bring to mind cupid with his quivering bow, red roses, and heart shaped boxes of chocolate. Whatever your relationship status, Valentine's Day seems to be one of those holidays that you can't escape.

Nuts and Bolts Singles Party at Fado

Looking for love (or just a good time) this Valentine's Day? Fado Irish Pub is hosting a Nuts and Bolts party on Saturday, February 9. Depending on gender, each person will receive a nut or a bolt with hopes to find his or her match by the end of the night. A DJ will spin tunes during the party with giveaways and drink specials available all night.

Fools for Love Wine Dinner at Woodfire Grill

Woodfire Grill will join Georgia Shakespeare to host a “Fools for Love” wine dinner on February 11. Beginning at 7 p.m., the restaurant is offering a four-course dinner with premium wine pairings. Georgia Shakespeare’s Associate Artists will provide the entertainment, performing jazz standards and love songs throughout the evening. Tickets are priced at $150 per person ($90 is tax deductible) and can be purchased online or by calling 404-504-3405.

Chocolate and Beer Tasting at HOBNOB

HOBNOB, located in Midtown near Piedmont Park, is celebrating Valentine's Day a few days ahead of schedule with a Chocolate and Beer pairing dinner on February 6. Four courses of specially prepared chocolate food tasting will be served with four complementary beers. You'll enjoy tasty bites like chocolate dipped oranges with sea salt paired with Founder’s Centennial IPA and second course is chicken mole over crispy rice cakes with chocolate dipped bacon paired with a Stone Smoked Porter. Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton

The now shuttered Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead was well known as one of Atlanta's best restaurants for fine dining. Due to the requests of many loyal fans, Ritz-Carlton executive chef Franck Steigerwald is opening the room for a Valentine's Day pop-up experience. Party with a Passion at the High Museum

On Valentine's Day, the High Museum of Art will host the opening night fiesta for their new Frida & Diego exhibit - the perfect night to celebrate a couple known for their firey passion. The event will feature live Mexican music, salsa dancing, a couples photo booth and Frida impersonators.
