Fado Irish Pub
March 17, 2012Fadó will open at 7 a.m., and rugby fans will enjoy non-stop live action. There will be a $10 cover charge starting at 8 a.m. which grants fans access to a viewing area that has been sectioned off for the game. The rest of Fadó is open with no cover charge for guests until noon.
At noon, the Buckhead pub will open its doors to the street festival that includes beer tents, bagpipers and Irish dancers along with live music throughout the day and night. Pre-sale tickets are available for $10 online (these sold out fast last year!), and tickets will also be sold for $15 at the door. Astral Freaks (Van Morrison cover band), Desire (Atlanta’s own U2 cover band) and Justin will all perform live for the crowd outside the pub, and a DJ will be inside spinning tracks for partygoers.
St. Patrick's Day Parade & Underground Atlanta

The city gathers for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade through downtown. The route begins Peachtree Street at Ralph McGill, proceeds down Peachtree toward Woodruff Park. The parade is a spectacle of floats, bands, bagpipes and Irish spirit. The fun kicks off at noon.
The festival in Underground Atlanta will be a full-on Irish party with a vendor market, family activities, dancing and more. The festival is from noon - 6 p.m.

ShamROCK with Yacht Rock
March 3, 2011Kick off March and St. Patrick's Day mayhem with Yacht Rock at Park Tavern. Live music will start at 4 p.m. with special guests Saturday Night Beaver who will get revelers going with their raw and glamorous stage show that celebrates the artists that brought sex appeal to popular music including favorites from Rick James, Rod Stewart and George Michael. With the green beer flowing aplenty, revelers will then be treated to a set of U2 covers beginning at 6:30 p.m. courtesy of Uno Dos Tres Catorce: a PleaseRock Tribute. To close out the evening, Yacht Rock Revue will follow the U2 set with two unforgettable performances at 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Never to disappoint, Park Tavern will have a 30-foot ultimate Bloody Mary Bar sponsored by Smirnoff with all the fixings, specialty cocktails, frosty draft beer and hearty fare galore. Tickets for ages 21 and up are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
