This list will help you find a boutique hotel in Atlanta. When I travel, I prefer to stay somewhere a with a little bit of luxury and a unique feel. I also recommend boutique hotels to friends visiting Atlanta. This is a list of some of Atlanta's unique boutique hotel options.

The Renaissance Hotel Midtown

The Palomar Hotel

The Renaissance (formerly The Palomar, so it's boutique chic) is located in Midtown Atlanta and has a chic, urban feel. Being an Atlanta native, it's rare that I get to stay in a hotel - but I have stayed at the Palomar and i can say that everything about our stay was exceptional. The rooms are modern and spacious. The bathrooms - especially in the suites - are large and comfortable to move around in.

The Renaissance has a stunning lobby that makes quite the first impression. They also have a popular terrace-level outdoor bar and lounge called Rooftop 866 and an upscale Italian restaurant - Briza.

The hotel has easy access to Marta (public transportation) and is within walking distance of several restaurants as well as The Fox Theatre.

The Ellis

Ellis Hotel

The Ellis is located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta and is a great boutique hotel option for business travelers or those visiting some of Atlanta's attactions including The Georgia Aquarium, The World of Coca-Cola, Centennial Olympic Park or The Georgia Dome. It is also very close to AmericasMart.

The Ellis has clean, sophisticated decor without too much flash. Their restaurant, Terrace, offers southern cooking with an updated twist and has a nice patio overlooking Peachtree Street - Atlanta's most famous street.

The Ellis is accessible by the Marta train system.

Glenn Hotel

Glenn Hotel

The Glenn Hotel is another great downtown Atlanta boutique hotel. Situated just steps from Centennial Park, it's a prime spot for walking to many of the downtown attractions. The Glenn Hotel is located in the Luckie district, with gives visitors easy access to several restaurants and bars.

This hotel is most known for the Sky Lounge, a rooftop bar with stunning panoramic views of Atlanta.

The Artmore

The Artmore

The Artmore is a chic boutique hotel on the north end of Midtown and is usually has very affordable rates. The Artmore is just a few blocks from the High Museum of Art, The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and other Woodruff Arts Center attractions. It is also located very close to Atlantic Station, a popular shopping district, and a shuttle is available from the closeby Marta station to take you there and back.

The Artmore has a hip lobby bar as well as an attractive courtyard area. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a modern, minimalist fashion.
