Enjoy a creative twist on a classic at Taming of the Shrew: The Musical at Georgia Shakespeare. This musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew is set in 1930s Miami. Petruchio and Kate sing, dance and match wits like Fred and Ginger.

Hoods Up! at the High Museum. Take advantage of the rare chance to peek under the hood some of the classic cars from the "Allure of the Automobile" event. Hoods are up from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m..

Savor the tasts of Tuscany at the Tuscan Regional Dinner at Valenza a unique dinner experience featuring comfort-inspired, vibrant Italian dishes that showcase the simple and seasonal food of Tuscany paired with wines from Ruffino Winery. The four-course menu and wine pairings will be offered for $50.00 per person. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served starting at 7:00 p.m. Reservations can be made online or by calling 404.969.3233.

Jazz Fridays at the High Museum. June Friday Jazz performer is Kevin Bales. Friday Jazz is an evening of art & music on the third Friday of the month, including live musical performances, drawing in the galleries and extended hours with full gallery access and food and drink available for purchase. Free with museum admission and free to members.

Get Groovy at Town Center Mall's Sixties Party! On Saturday, June 19 from 1-3 p.m., families are invited to participate in a fun-filled day at the Groovy Sixties celebration. The afternoon will include a DJ spinning groovy tunes from the decade, dancing, airbrush tattoos and more fun activities. Plus, little ones will have a chance to work on crafts and coloring sheets for Father’s Day. Free for Simon Kidgits Club members; $5 for nonmembers includes an entire year of activities.

Wildfire, located near Perimeter Mall, hosts a Primo Pino wine dinner. The dinner experience pairs the cuisine of Wildfire with select Pinot Noirs from a variety of vineyards. Executive Chef Matt Albertario creates a four course menu that celebrates the light bodied, fruit forward essence of Pinot Noir. Guest speaker Michelle Schmitt of Total Wine will be on hand to discuss the pairings and the challenges of creating the perfect Pinot Noir. The dinner is priced at $60.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Kick-off the summer music season with Jazz in the Gardens at Villa Christina, complimentary outdoor concerts. The series opens on June 13th, as Reggie Hines takes the stage by storm. This New York saxophonist will perform an incredible show, playing his horn with soul and swagger. Reggie’s high-energy and electrifying sounds will be accompanied by his talented band. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. and music begins at 5:30 p.m. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Children are welcome and will be delighted by free activities including a moonwalk and face painting. Food and beverages will be offered by Villa Christina for purchase. No coolers.
