Intown Atlanta Condos and Lofts

Ponce Springs Lofts: New mixed-use development adjacent to the Glen Iris Lofts which will include an upscale restaurant called Repast. The 100 loft units are situated around a courtyard fountain, a marker to the "fountain of youth" that the area historically was said to contain.

33 Ponce: Unique, small loft condominium development just down the street from the Fox Theatre. It's conveniently located near the North Avenue MARTA station. I had the chance to check out the interiors of a couple of different units here during the 2004 Midtown Tour of Homes, and I was impressed with the layout.

BUCKHEAD

Terminus: Mixed-use development that towers 32 stories high. Luxury amenities include floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide brilliant views of the Atlanta skyline. 10 Terminus Place is perfectly situated at the corner of Piedmont and Peachtree Roads, in the heart of Buckhead, and close to shopping, dining, and entertainment venues.

The Astoria at the Aramore: A live-work-play development in Buckhead that offers outdoor terraces, skyline views, streetfront boutiques and cafes, and access to walking trails.

The View at Chastain: Sure, the view is terrific, but how about 200 restaurants within a 2-mile radius of your home? The View's central location is close to just about everything. Other amenities include private balconies, garden tubs, free private yoga sessions, and high speed internet access.

One Buckhead Loop: Prestigous high-rise luxury condominium that offers excellent amenities and a central location close to both the Atlanta Financial Center and major shopping venues.

Buckhead Grand: New luxury 36-story high-rise offering the best amenities, great views, and a central location. Services include a valet, spa, wine cellar, chef, and a yoga room.

Buckhead Village Lofts: Conveniently located a 1/4 mile north of the intersection of Peachtree Rd. and Roswell Rd., this loft community offers a two-story lobby, high-speed elevators, rooftop terrace, and a fitness center.

The Grandview: Upscale high-rise condominium with superb Buckhead location, within walking distance of Phipps Plaza, Lenox Square Mall, Publix Supermarket, and Target, among many other retail establishments. Amenities include a 24-hour concierge, reasonable HOA fees, and some units that feature skyline views.

eon at Lindbergh: Located in the Lindbergh City Center, this energy-efficient and environmentally-conscious condominium development offers 352 one- and two-bedroom residences ranging in size from 700 square-feet to 1,100 square-feet, priced from the $180s.

Skyline at Lindbergh: High-rise condo development across the street from Lindbergh Plaza, with prices ranging from $200's to over $1 million. Floor plans offered include 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom plus den, 2 bedroom from the $300s. Penthouses and townhomes are also available.

OTHER INTOWN ATLANTA AREAS

Oakland Park: Located in Grant Park, this loft development is one of the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/Green buildings in Atlanta. Restaurants and retail space that anchor the ground floor of the building provide added convenience. 1 and 2 bedroom units are available, ranging in price from the $190's to the $450's.

Uptown Square: Part of the new Lindbergh mixed-use development, with direct access to the Lindbergh MARTA station, restaurants, shopping, and more. A rent-to-own program has been established, where renters can receive credit towards the purchase of a condominium home at environmentally-friendly Eon, also located at Lindbergh City Center.
