Guide Review - Bone Garden Cantina
I dropped by Bone Garden on a Friday evening with a large party during prime dinner hours. We had a short wait for a spot in the small dining room, but it was no problem as we got to relax with a margarita at the bar and experience the fantastic atmosphere Bone Garden provides. This place is worth checking out if only to take in the decor. Themed to represent the Day of the Dead, this place is anything but somber. Brightly colored flowers and skeletons playing guitar create an unforgettable ambiance.
And then there's the food. I brought along a friend from Mexico who informed me that the offerings were pretty darn authentic. Bone Garden serves up a variety of tacos (I highly recommend the brisket), enchiladas, empanadas and other spicy delights. The sides, sold separately, are generously priced and even more generously portioned. Because I always wonder this at a la carte spots, I'll go ahead and recommend you get either 2 items and a side or 3 items with no side - you can always order more if you're still craving queso!
If you're thirsty, don't fear. Margaritas flow freely and there's a large variety in the tequila department, including a tequila flight if you want to try a few.
