Guide Review - Twisted Taco
Twisted Taco looks like it blew in straight from Texas, with cowboy-inspired decor and spicy food to match. The Midtown location is a multi-level bar and casual eatery with a large outdoor patio. Young 20-somethings pour in for shots of tequila, cheap margaritas ($3 on Wednesdays!) and even cheaper tacos ($2.50 a la carte or upgrade to a combo).
Usually a lively spot with loud music, Twisted Taco Midtown also has an upstairs karaoke room which is always a hit with those who have had a few margaritas for a little liquid courage.
The food here is far from authentic, but it's always a fun spot to grab drinks with friends. Personal favorites include the Twisted fries - french fries with queso cheese and spicy taco meat, and the Sierra Madre taco with delicious jalepeno mayo.
