Restaurants You Can Walk To From Turner Field
To be honest, your walking distance options are limited, but we've got a few!- Boner's BBQ - There are plenty of meaty puns in use here, and lovely ladies in tight tanks and short shorts, so while Boner's is great for some 'cue, you may want to keep the kids away. Boner's serves all your favorite barbecue classics, and also has refreshing brews available.
- Bullpen Rib House - Located right up against Turner Field, this is another BBQ option just a stone's throw from all of the Atlanta Brave's action. They have lunch, dinner, and a full bar. Diner's reviews have been mixed, but you can't beat the convenience.
- Museum Bar - Museum Bar hip looking bar, restaurant and lounge only half a mile from Turner Field, but you do have to cross the highway.
Restaurants Near Underground Atlanta
Taking the Braves Shuttle? Eating near Underground might be a good option for you. Downtown Atlanta has a few hidden gems!
My top recommendation for dinner is Lunacy Black Market, with great prices and killer food.
For casual eats, hit up Broad Street and inhale some delicious Rosa's Pizza (note: Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. only). There are lots of casual spots on Broad Street, but since they cater to the lunch crowd, many aren't open in the evening.
You are also within easy walking distance of the Peachtree Center area (or if you are coming from the north, just hop off one stop early) where you'll find Alma Cocina, Meehan's Pub, and the always classy Hooter's.
After the game, unwind on the rooftop at SkyLounge at the Glenn Hotel.
Restaurants A Short Drive From Turner Field
If you've got a car at the game (and let's face it, most of Atlanta does!), there are a number of dining options at your finger tips. Particularly if you aren't from the Southeast side of Atlanta, this could be a great opportunity to check out some new restaurants and bars!
Just a short drive from Turner Field is a stretch of Memorial Drive with lots of newer restaurants and bars. My top recommendation for casual pre and post-game eats are Six Feet Under (with a great rooftop patio) and Tin Lizzy's (who doesn't love Mexican?). Republic Social House is also a nice bar option (another great rooftop), and there is the quaint Augustine's with a great beer selection. Don't forget Daddy D'z for a casual BBQ meal many say is the best in Atlanta.
