Atlanta's Top Tapas

An evening of tapas is a fun way to share food with friends and taste lots of different dishes. From traditional Spanish flavors to new interpretations of small plates, Atlanta has many tasty tapas restaurants to try.

Barcelona Wine Bar

Barcelona, which opened in late 2011, was an instant hit with the tapas crowd. The lively Inman Park spot has two sides - a happenin' bar area with tables and a more subdued dining room. There's also outdoor seating along Highland Avenue. The menu at Barcelona is full of hits - with a great weeknight deal that gets you 10 tapas for $60 (a significant savings over the regular pricing). They've also got a few larger dishes like paella. Wine lovers will appreciate their extensive list and knowledgeable sommelier. For some traditional Spanish tapas, Barcelona is not to be missed.

Eclipse di Luna

764 Miami Circle, Atlanta, GA 30324
4505 Ashford-Dunwoody Rd., Suite 11, Atlanta, GA 30346

Whether it's the original Buckhead location or the newly opened Dunwoody hot spot, Eclipse de Luna is all about friends, fun and a high-energy experience. With live music nightly, a long and inviting wine list and intoxicating cuisine like the grilled chorizo with fig purée and port wine honey, Eclipse di Luna gives diners and escape from the ordinary.

Krog Bar

112 Krog Street, Suite 27
Atlanta, GA 30307

Wander through what appears to be an abandoned warehouse district in Inman Park and you'll stumble upon Krog Bar, one of the cities top wine and small plates destinations. Headed by power-chef Kevin Rathbun, winner of Food Network's Iron Chef, Krog Bar is an intimate wine bar serving Mediterranean cold small plates. The menu changes daily with dishes like Smoked Salmon-Caper Creme Fraiche and mouth-watering desserts like chocolate goat cheese stuffed dates with chestnut honey.

Loca Luna

550 Amsterdam Ave NE
Atlanta, GA 30306

Loca Luna is tucked away in Amsterdam Walk, in a large, colorful converted warehouse space with plenty of room for dining, dancing and enjoying daily live music on their stage. A perfect place for a party, groups of all kinds flock to the sizable, tropical patio to enjoy Atlanta's warm weather. The drinks are strong, with Spanish and Latin American favorites like mojitos and caiparinas, and the food is authentic and memorable.

1000 Virginia Ave NE
Atlanta, GA 30306

In the heart of bustling Virginia-Highland, Noche is filled with noise and laughter as guests enjoy tapas on the patio or festive drinks from the large bar. Monday nights are especially popular, with an all-you-can-eat menu available for $10. Enjoy a traditional plate of Spanish cheese or branch out with fusion dishes like mini crab cakes in a jalapeno tartar sauce.

Noche has also added locations in Vinings and Brookhaven.

Pura Vida

656 North Highland Ave
Atlanta, GA 30306

Located in Poncey-Highlands, Pura Vida has won numerous "Best Tapas" honors from local publications. The restaurant is chef owned-and-operated and mixes flavors from Latin America and Spain into creative tapas treats.
