By

Sometimes a girl just needs to get her shop on! Atlanta is a great town for shopping, with everything from high end luxury brands to cute, affordable boutiques. Learn more about some of Atlanta's best shopping destinations below.

Luxury Shopping in Atlanta:

Love a good logo or a timelessly chic designer item? Buckhead is the place to go! Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood is home to two big malls - Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza - which boast dozen's of luxury shops. What kind of shopping splurges are we talking about, here? Think big names like Burburry, Fendi, Michael Kohrs, Kate Spade, and Louis Vuitton at Lenox Mall. Things get even ritzier over at Phipps Plaza, where you'll find outposts of Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Jimmy Choo, and Valentino. Wallet a little light these days? Don't worry, both malls also have more affordable options as well as department stores, with Lenox being the more affordable of the two shopping meccas.

Also in Buckhead is the Buckhead Atlanta development, currently under construction, which is going to be home to a number of luxury shops.

Walkable Shopping Districts:

One of the most loveable things about Atlanta is all of the eclectic neighborhoods, and some of those neighborhoods have great shopping!

Little Five Points is one of the most fun neighborhoods in Atlanta, with lots of shopping, restaurants and bars, and unbeatable people watching. You won't find Lilly Pulitzer here, but you will find some of the city's best vintage shops, a few affordable boutiques, funky t-shirts, a little bit of goth, and a whole lot of personality.

Virgina Highland is charming intown neighborhood with a few streets of shops perfect for an afternoon stroll. Get your fashion fix at boutiques like Bill Hallman, Mooncake, and Festivity. For unique home goods and gifts, check out Ten Thousand Villages, Urban Cottage, and The Indie-pendant. Need a sugar rush to keep you going? Indulge in a cupcake at Belly General Store. Just south across Ponce de Leon Avenue is Poncey-Highland, where you can keep the shopping spree going at a few more shops. Urban Outfitters, Highland Row Antiques, and Young Blood Gallery.

Affordable Boutiques in Atlanta:

Atlanta has all of the major brands and shops a shopaholic could want, but why not skip the normal shops and check out some of Atlanta's fun boutiques? Shopping at local boutiques doesn't have to be expensive. Many of these shops have clothes cheaper than what you'd find in department stores.
