Atlanta's Best Spas

Massages, Facials, Manicures, and More at Atlanta's Top Spas

By

Sometimes a girl just needs to kick back and relax with a spa day! Luckily, Atlanta has plenty of options for a day of beauty, whether you're looking to pamper yourself with a massage, a pedicure, or a facial. Spa days are great for mother-daughter outings, bachelorette parties, and gifts for the lucky lady (or man) in your life (hint, hint!).

Natural Body Spa

Natural Body is a small chain with ten locations around Atlanta, making it convenient no matter where you live in the city. Their intimate spa locations have a casual, comfortable feel to them, ensuring that you'll always feel at home even if you're a first-timer.

Each location has it's own unique features, but at all of them you'll find a small retail shop and private treatment rooms for massages, facials, and other body treatments. Their vast spa menu includes hot stone massages, pregnancy massages, couples treatments, microdermabrasion, body wraps, manicures, and more. Some locations feature an adjoining nail salon, 10Ten, while others offer private rooms for pedicures.

Natural Body is my go-to choice for spa services in Atlanta. I find their services offer a great value, with little touches like your choice or aromatherapy oils included, in a low-key setting.

Locations in Decatur, Virginia-Highland, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Cumming, Smyrna, Alpharetta, Snellville, Marietta (West Cobb), Forsyth, and downtown in the Omni Hotel.

Bliss

For the ultimate in hip, girls weekend spa adventures, it's got to be Bliss. Located in the W Hotel (both Midtown and Downtown), this import from the big apple is a chic spa experience. Bliss has 22 locations around the globe, and their name has become synonymous with spa days. Their modern environment screams cool (and looks super clean), and treatments here come with access to some stellar facilities for relaxing.

For a day out with friends, our money is on the Midtown location. It will put you close to dozens of restaurants and nightclubs, so you can go show off your shiny new mani-pedi. Services include facials, massages, waxing, nails, body treatments (scrubs, rubs, peels, the whole nine yards), and even laser hair removal. Bliss tends to be a little more expensive than other spas, but you get a really nice environment, plus access to steam showers, a sauna, spa snacks and more (with select treatments).

Spa Sydell

Spa Sydell has been a fixture on the Atlanta scene for years, and it's often the first name to come to mind when you're looking for a spa in Atlanta. With six locations, there's usually one not to far away. Spa Sydell offers all the typical spa treatments, including massages, nail services, facials (including peels and microdermabrasion), body wraps and polishes, airbrush tanning, hair removal and more. There are lots of packages and combinations to choose from. They also offer party packages for bridesmaids (or just a girl's day out), but these come at a pretty hefty price.

While Spa Sydell is not my personal favorite spa in Atlanta, they have often won "Best Of" status and are always a safe choice. This is my go-to for gifting to people who want a traditional spa experience backed by a big name.

Locations in Alpharetta, Buckhead, Norcross, Brookwood (North Midtown), Roswell, and Dunwoody.
