Water Parks, Aquatic Centers, Spraygrounds, and Tubing - Keeping Atlanta Cool

From

Looking for ways to cool off beyond the neighborhood pool and Georgia's lakes? Head to a water park, aquatic center, fountain, or river to splash, swim, and slide.

1. Aquatic Centers

Indoors or out, your family will enjoy lazy rivers, water slides, and drop buckets at local aquatic centers run by city and county parks departments. Admission is affordable, and at the indoor centers, you can swim all year long.

2. Atlanta Water Parks

Atlanta has three large water parks with thrilling slides, wave pools, and rides.

3. Splash Playgrounds

You'll hear squeals of delight as children run through the fountains and interactive water features. Splash playgrounds are located all over Atlanta and its suburbs.

4. Tubing in Helen

A visit to Helen, GA in the summer wouldn't be complete without a tubing trip down the river. Take your pick from two tubing companies. If tubing isn't enough for you, pay a little extra to visit the water slides, too.
