The Georgia Aquarium participates in the City Pass program. For only $59 for adults, and $45 for children, plus tax, City Pass holders can visit six of Atlanta's best tourist attractions. There is a nine-day limit that the pass is good for. Other venues that can be visited include the World of Coca-Cola, the High Museum of Art, the Inside CNN studio tour, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Zoo Atlanta, and the Atlanta History Center.

For more information about Downtown Atlanta tourist attractions, refer to this Guest Feature that discusses how to enjoy Downtown Atlanta with the family.

Of course, the Georgia Aquarium is not just an adventure for the kids, it can make for a romantic date or unique honeymoon destination as well.

Starwood Hotels and Resorts are offering excellent Georgia Aquarium hotel packages at their properties, including superb hotels like the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Downtown Atlanta, which provides convenient access to the Georgia Aquarium and other tourist attractions in the Downtown Atlanta area. Weekend rates are from $145/night and weekday rates are from $195/night.

While the Georgia Aquarium hopes to be the best of the bunch, there are other noteworthy aquariums to explore. Read more about The Florida Aquarium and check out some great photos from this impressive facility as well.
