World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta

The World of Coca-Cola is a tourist attraction dedicated to celebrating the history of one of the world's most popular beverages, which was created in Atlanta. In May 2007, a new, state-of-the-art World of Coca-Cola opened, with expanded exhibits.

The new World of Coca-Cola is located at Pemberton Place next to the Georgia Aquarium, another popular Atlanta tourist attraction. The street address is 121 Baker Street.

The new World of Coca-Cola relocated to Pemberton Place in Downtown Atlanta in May 2007, leaving its original home adjacent to Underground Atlanta, where it had been opened since 1990.

Tickets to the World of Coca-Cola can be purchased online. Like the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola uses a timed ticketing system, to reduce gridlock inside the facility. Children 4 and under are free as long as they are accompanied by a paid adult.

Patrons can view the world's largest collection of Coke memorabilia, along with screenings inside a 4-D Theater. One of the most popular attractions is the tasting experience with over 70 different products to sample from all over the world. Art lovers will want to check out the Pop Culture Gallery featuring works by artists such as Andy Warhol and Norman Rockwell. American Idol fans will want to see the official couch from season one of the popular reality show.

The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Downtown Atlanta is offering a special New World of Coca-Cola package. Adult and Family packages are available. The Westin Peachtree Plaza is one of Atlanta's most famous landmarks. To obtain one of the best panoramic views of Atlanta, take the elevator ride up 73 stories to the Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar and View. The hotel is within walking distance of the World of Coca-Cola.
